This series is personal to me.

As artists, we’re inevitably influenced by what we are drawn to—by shared ideas, processes, and ways of seeing. That’s natural. I’ve been inspired by others, and I don’t deny that.

This series, though, came without reference. No borrowed process, no guiding aesthetic. It revealed itself accidentally.

Because of that, it feels pure. It’s mine to fully own. It came from within.

I could assign it meaning, but that wouldn’t be honest. Sometimes work doesn’t begin with intention or explanation. Sometimes it simply happens.
